About Wayne Peterson

Wayne Peterson has been helping family-owned businesses tackle their needs and issues since 1991. Since that time, he has provided services that integrate techniques for improving business results with comprehensive financial, estate, risk, and continuity planning for family members.

Wayne brings over 40 years of “hands-on” business management experience -- with large and small companies -- to the unique needs of closely-held businesses, their owners, and families. With responsibility as an ITT executive for a $75 million business area, he wrote and executed strategic and business plans and was responsible for profit margin and meeting schedules.

Entering financial planning in 1987 and founding Family Business Office, Inc., Wayne and has been managing client wealth for 28 years. After writing the “Transformation Watch” newsletter for over ten years, Wayne wrote and published in 2015 “But What If I’m Right: Surviving Transformation of the Global Financial System,” which can be purchased at Amazon.

Wayne is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, with a Master’s degree from Southern Methodist University. He served 5 years with the U.S. Marine Corps as a fighter pilot and is the father of 5 daughters. He lives with Diane, his wife of 41 years, in Austin.
